At the request of the Groom we played him into the ceremony room with the Game of Thrones theme tune, which we thought was a nice touch as the groom doesn't often get a special song all to themselves! We followed this with some music while guests arrived including Jerusalem, Handel's Arrival of the Queen of Sheba and Bach's Air on a G String. We played the lovely Bride down the aisle to Pachelbel's Canon in D and as a special request we played Elton John's Your Song as well as Christina Perri's A Thousand Years and Ellie Goulding's How Long Will I Love You during the singing of the register. It was a truly lovely ceremony and they read out their own vows and when they exited we played a short section of the classic wedding march which then followed into All You Need is Love by the Beatles.
We moved outside for the wedding reception and played while the happy couple and their guests were having photos taken as well as enjoying some Pimms and Bucks Fizz. We played a selection of light Pop covers with favoruites including All of Me by John Legend, Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley, Mr Brightside by The Killers and Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. To tie the ceremony and the wedding reception together we also repeated Elton John's Your Song, Christina Perri's A Thousand Years and Ellie Goulding's How Long Will I Love You.
