Another lovely wedding on the hottest day of the year!
A little bit of an exciting morning though with thunderstorms and rain threatening to ruin the day. But once we got to the lovely little village of Firle the sun came out and we enjoyed a pre-wedding lunch at the Ram Inn.
Another really beautiful wedding venue of the Stables of Firle house and the most wonderful gardens imaginable... The only negative point was the pile of poles and plastic that was meant to be the Gazebo we were meant to be playing under that had succumbed to the storm the previous night!
But we managed to find some shade out of the firing range of falling twigs and leaves and played a great set.
It was a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and we played some Handel followed by some more popular tunes including All You Need is Love and Only Girl in the World.
Despite the rocky start I can't think of any other way I'd rather spend a Saturday afternoon.
