The Bride and Groom had decided to have their ceremony in a local Church so we were just playing for the reception drinks and wedding breakfast at the Farm. We played a good selection of our Pop covers of modern songs for Violin and Cello, including some old favourites Pompeii by Bastille and our new cover of Sia's Cheap Thrills.
When the Wedding Breakfast started we played them in to Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud and continued with, at their request, some of the slightly more relaxed songs also from our Pop cover list including Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol, 7 years by Lukas Graham.
It was a pleasure to work with Toastmaster Paul Mitchell who very kindly thanked us publicly when we had finished playing, it's not often we get a round of applause at a wedding dinner!
If you are in need of a professional Toast Master we would definitely recommend him! http://www.pmtoastmaster.com/
Once we had finished we went up to the head table to pay our respects and had some lovely comments from the Bride and Groom and their guests. All in all we had a wonderful day!
